We want you to be happy with every order. This policy explains when you can cancel an order and how refunds work. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.
1. Cancelling an order
- Before pickup — you can cancel free of charge any time before our team collects your items.
- After pickup, before processing — you can cancel and we’ll return your items; a small pickup/logistics fee may apply.
- After processing has begun — orders being cleaned cannot be cancelled, as the service is already underway.

2. Not happy? Free re-clean first
If an item hasn’t come out the way you expected, tell us within 24 hours of delivery and we’ll re-clean it free of charge. Re-cleaning is our first remedy for most quality concerns.
3. When you’re eligible for a refund
- You paid for a service we did not provide.
- You were overcharged versus the confirmed order amount.
- An item was lost or damaged due to our proven negligence — settled per the liability cap in Section 9 of our Terms (10× the item’s cleaning charge, up to ₹3,000 per item).
- A quality issue we could not resolve through re-cleaning.
4. When refunds don’t apply
- Service has been completed as ordered and to standard.
- Outcomes inherent to the fabric — old/set stains that cannot be fully removed, colour bleeding, shrinkage or fading, and items cleaned at owner’s risk (no/unclear care label), as described in our Terms.
- Damage from valuables or items left in pockets.
- Claims raised after the 48-hour window from delivery.
- Repeated failed delivery attempts where you were unavailable.
5. How to raise a claim
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery, on WhatsApp at +91 90410 20064 or by email at swishhlaundry@gmail.com, with your order reference, a description of the issue, and photos where relevant. We’ll review and respond promptly, usually within 2–3 business days.
6. How refunds are issued
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method, or as Swishh app credit if you prefer, typically within 5–7 business days. The exact time to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.
